a door way into my creativity, ideas and life.
mmm believe me, these taste so good! I sickened myself after the second one LOL. The strawberry is just the right sweetness, the chocolate just the right richness and the cookie is just the right chewyness! They are so good!
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees Celsius Taking a jar with my cookie mix the same as in my previous post, I placed it into a bowl and gathered 170g of melted butter, 1tbsp of vanilla abstract, 1 egg and 1 egg yolk and mixed it all together with a spoon.
When its mixed in it will start to become sticky, that’s when the messy part begins! Take both hands to thoroughly mix it. Take about 4 tablespoons of the mix into your hands and round it into a dough ball.
Place on baking tray (with tinfoil or baking paper) and space out your cookie dough to give enough room for the cookie to expand while cooking

Pop into the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cookies are lightly toasted. Take them out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking tray before transferring to a cooling rack.
They taste as good as they smell mmm!
Enjoy:) let me know how it goes!

So, I’m stuck for ideas for my friends birthday and as she has a bit of a sweet tooth, I thought I could make her a Cookie Mix
(Later I will bake these!) Putting all the ingredients into a container, adding your own personal touch; and you have a birthday gift! How cute does this jar look! ![]()

You’ll need: 250g plain flour, 1/2tsp of salt, 1/2 tbsp of bicarbonate soda, 100g caster sugar, 200g brown sugar, as many chocolate chips and strawberry buttons you wish! Oh, and an old jar to put the mix in
and personal bits and bobs to decorate your jar

Once you’ve measured all your ingredients out, sieve the flour, salt and bicarbonate soda together. Pour this into the bottom of the jar pressing it down with a flat bottomed item. ( I used the bottom of a pepper shaker)

Then add a layer of the brown sugar on top of this, pressing down again, then on top of this add the caster sugar, doing the same again ![]()
Take your strawberry buttons and line them on their side against the glass, making a layer the whole way round like a fort (this gives it a cute presentation!) fill the middle of the ‘fort’ with the rest of the buttons!
Place the chocolate drops on top of this, doing the same again, working from the outside around the glass, and finally filling the middle with the rest of them!

NOTE TO SELF… USE SMALLER JAR NEXT TIME!!
Create a label for your jar, telling your friend how to bake these yummy cookies)
‘Just mix with 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, 170g of melted butter and a dash of vanilla abstract to unleash these yummy cookies at 170 degrees celsius for 20-25 minutes!’
YUM
Give me feedback on what you think or try it out!

We all know how boring plain and boring envelopes can be so I thought of an easy peasy way to add your own personal touch to them

All we need is some paper, (graphics/words/pictures anything from magazines to old wrapping paper to music scripts, anything at all that adds a personal touch!)
Pair of scissors
An Envelope
Marker
Gluestick
First thing’s first, carefully pull the envelope’s edges apart from the glue

Then take the marker and set the envelope on top of your paper and trace it and cut it out!

Put the paper cut out on top of your envelope and fold the envelope back together – with the paper on the outside, obviously ![]()

Unfold and then glue the paper to the envelope

Et voila, your very own personalised envelope!
– share your ideas with me

As army is a huge theme in the fashion world this season, I came across an old army jacket in a local charity shop for a few pounds. I thought this could be a good experiment of my customisation. How does it look ? ![]()

As you can see I sewed some patches on to the arm, added studs and glued other customisations on, to make my own personal twist of an army jacket
I am happy to say I sold it for £20 on eBay!
I pierced holes along the shoulder of the jacket by using the tip of my gingher scissors and fastened the studs and other custom pieces. You can get these in River Island or the likes of eBay for cheap.

I then superglued silver squares and other little bits and bobs to the jacket! easy, peasy et voila!
Cheap way to personalise your items! What ideas of customisation do you have?
